** for all users of point & shoot and compact cameras that have both Aperture Priority (A or Av) and Shutter Priority (S or Tv) modes ** This workshop is all about showing you new strategies that will help you become more creative as well as more capable of handling difficult lighting scenarios. This workshop places greater emphasis on creative modes, and less on controls and dials.
Compact Cameras 101 or equivalent knowledge. Must have a camera with Advanced Modes (S/Tv, A/Av, M)
- An introduction to exposure: aperture, shutter speed & ISO - Creative use of the aperture & shutter speed - Advanced shooting techniques & tips - Adjusting the ISO for better low light pictures - Using the semi-automatic exposure modes - Understanding when to use Spot metering mode
Users who have attended the appropriate prerequisite workshop who wish to explore more advanced shooting modes with their compact cameras.
At the end of the course you will be provided with an access code to download class notes from our website. These notes are great for reviewing the topics discussed in class.
