This workshop is all about showing you new strategies that will help you become more creative as well as more capable of handling difficult lighting scenarios. This workshop places greater emphasis on creative modes, and less on controls and dials.
Note: Your camera must have both Aperture Priority (A or Av) and Shutter Priority (S or Tv) Modes in order for you to attend this workshop.

Prerequisites:

Any of the following: Canon G10/G11 Part 1, Panasonic Users Part 1, Point and Shoot Basics

Course Outline:

- An introduction to exposure: aperture, shutter speed & ISO
- Creative use of the aperture & shutter speed
- Advanced shooting techniques & tips
- Adjusting the ISO for better low light pictures
- Using the semi-automatic exposure modes
- Understanding when to use Spot metering mode

Who Should Attend?

Users who have attended the appropriate prerequisite workshop who wish to explore more advanced shooting modes with their compact cameras.
