  • Excellent introduction to D7000 by Bob at Barrie location

This was my first workshop with Henrys. I took this at the Barrie store. Right from the start Bob made the class comfortable. He started with the basics and made sure that we were comfortable and understood and gave us time to ask questions as well. The D7000 is a great camera and with this course you know what every control does on the camera. He also showed us how there are two ways to access most things, either from the menu or from the buttons on the camera. The powerpoint presentation is up on the wall through the class so you can both look at your camera and see what you are supposed to see. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to know what the features are and able to use them well.

Truly the best workshop for the money. It covered everything I needed to get started with my new 7D and understand its main functions without feeling overwhelmed. It sure beat having to read the owner's manual!!! The instructor, Bob McWhinnie, was very knowledgeable and easy going. This workshop gave me the push I needed from always relying on Fully Automatic Mode to P for "Possibility" Mode :) Highly recommend this workshop!
