Join us in our computer lab and take the mystery out of getting film negatives, slides, old photos or other printed material into your computer. Learn how to scan effectively so your resulting images meet your needs. Also learn the fundamentals of repairing and enhancing those old family pictures in need of some TLC, using Adobe's Photoshop Elements.

Basic computer skills

- Scanner overview: what they can do and which specifications really matter
- Understanding resolution and how to set pixels-per-inch for your needs
- File types: How to save & work with your scans to ensure you preserve quality
- Basic restoration techniques with Adobe Photoshop Elements including: Restoring colour & contrast, Removing dust, scratches & cracks, Colorizing B&W images
